The Universal Algorithm: Discovery, Synthesis, and the Natural Matrix
Today, a friend used the term “Universal Algorithm” to describe the intertwined flowing of information and perception within a dynamic natural conscious matrix. I believe I invented this term through my experiences and exploration of the seemingly mystical nature of coms and feedback within our reality/consciousness realm/plane.
I was triggered to go to X and see if I had any posts that would be the origin of the phrase in the social connected sphere. What I found was interesting—and what could be described as meta universal coms within the exploration.
Tracing the Origin: My Personal Timeline
First, what I could find of my first post announcing/naming/discovering the “Universal Algorithm”:
- April 30th, 2023 – View Tweet – The oldest tweet I could find; here I am lamenting my own personal pits and traps within the interplay of myself with the “Universal Algorithm.”
- May 22nd, 2023 – View Tweet – This tweet is the oldest explanatory communication I could find from my account where I equate the “Universal Algorithm” to an original phrase I created to explain the conduit of communications with the universe and/or God: “Universal Wire.” The imagery is that of the Mandelbrot Set, a key to conceptualizing the infinite.
The Parallel Exploration: Synthetic vs. Natural
These examples are merely the first social posts I could find regarding my use of the term. But what I found next was terribly interesting. There were posts that used the phrase seemingly in real time as I was exploring the concept.

This link takes the user to a ‘for fee’ course: Foundation Models and the Path Towards a Universal Algorithm. This demonstrates the push-pull I have encountered with my fellow exploratory travelers between natural or synthetic in understanding our haptic feedback universal matrix. This course sets as a goal AI as a “Universal Algorithm”—a master codex of human knowledge.
April 1, 2023 – SpaceTimeViking
An interesting tweet that clearly places the “Universal Algorithm” as a synthetic simulation matrix. The author sees another phrase I created in association with the Universal Algorithm—Universal Coms—as being communications from within the matrix, not from outside.
Quantum Overlap and Computational Roots
March 22nd, 2023 – Physics Paper
A published paper: Higher-order quantum transformations of Hamiltonian dynamics. > “We present a universal algorithm for linear transformations of Hamiltonian dynamics, even when only given as a black box—an example of quantum functional programming.”
Could I have tapped into quantum communications within the natural “Universal Algorithm” as I was explaining and exploring the concept of The Wire and Universal Coms, all while physicists were theoretically coming up with the same concepts?
In my research, I also discovered several recent tweets mentioning “Nesterov’s universal algorithm” dating back to 2015. It is an adaptive optimization method that achieves optimal convergence rates for convex functions. Again, the original use of the phrase originates as a computational methodology to build intelligent systems instead of exploring natural intelligent systems.
The Core Question: Mimicry or Unveiling?
There is even a critique of this construction theory: Is Nesterov’s Universal Algorithm Really Universal?
Indeed, I was not the first person to invent the phrase “Universal Algorithm.” However, it seems I am one of few that see the Universal Algorithm as a naturally occurring foundation of our existence we should explore, versus something to be constructed or simulated.
Shouldn’t man try to explore, unveil, and define the systems that connect us and the living environment we inhabit before we try to mimic it with synthetic structures that could bind us? Or in the very building of these synthetic structures trying to mimic the Universal Algorithm, will we unveil the very nature of our natural existence?
